COVID-19 Safety Guidelines

Can I come to the Club if I am symptomatic?

All individuals must monitor symptoms before coming to the Club. Any individual experiencing flu-like symptoms should not come to the Club, and should immediately consult with his or her physician.

What are the Club’s quarantine guidelines for individuals who come into contact with someone who tests positive for COVID-19?

Montammy is required to adhere to Federal, State and Local law with respect to quarantining and isolation. In addition, your Board of Governors, on advice from the Emergency Response Committee, has decided to follow CDC guidelines relating to COVID-19. Those guidelines can be found on the CDC's website.

This link will explain to you whether and for how long you will need to quarantine if you have been in close contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19. Please note that if someone in your household has tested positive for COVID-19, you will be responsible for reviewing and adhering to these guidelines. If you have any questions as what steps you need to take, please email Adam Endick at [email protected].

What are the Club’s isolation and quarantine guidelines for individuals who test positive for COVID-19?

Isolation is required. People who are in isolation should stay home and not come to the Club until it is safe for them to be around others (and you should also wear a well-fitting mask at home if isolation is not possible around others in your household). Isolation ends (and the individual may come back to the Club) when all of the following conditions are satisfied:

  1. At least 5 days since the symptoms first appeared or if you are asymptomatic, 5 days since your positive COVID-19 test. Add an additional 5 days (so you should isolate for 10 days) if you got very sick or have a weakened immune system;
  2. At least 24 hours with no fever without the use of fever-reducing medications; and
  3. Other symptoms of COVID-19 are improving

After the expiration of the 5 (or 10)-day period in paragraph (a) above, you will be required to wear a mask at the Club for another 5 days and avoid being around others who are more likely to get very sick from COVID-19.

What happens if someone tests positive who has been at the Club?
  1. Our General Manager and Emergency Response Committee will perform contact tracing and, if necessary, will contact state and local health authorities
  2. Our General Manager and Emergency Response Committee will perform outreach to individuals who are at high risk and who may have come into contact with the infected individual while at the Club
  3. Specific areas of the Club may be shut down and properly sanitized
