      Except as specified below, proper Country Club Attire is acceptable throughout the Club. In the Sports Bar, Halfway House and on the Terrace areas, dress that is permitted on the Golf Course and Tennis Courts is permitted at all times unless a room is being used for other purposes.

      • Country Club Attire: dress that is acceptable on the Golf Course and Tennis Courts
      • Country Club Casual: golf attire, tennis attire, denim, collarless knit shirts, warm up suits and shorts
      • Business Casual: long trousers only, denim permitted (shorts not permitted); for men – collared shirts only (collarless shirts may be worn only under jackets)

      Clubhouse & Dining Before 6:00 PM

      Country Club Casual: golf attire, tennis attire, denim, collarless knit shirt, warm-up suits and shorts.

      MEN
      • Hats may not be worn in the Clubhouse with the exception of the Sports Bar, the Patio outside the Sports Bar, and the Halfway House
      • Bathing suits may not be worn in any dining area other than the Pool
      • Sandals may be worn (no flip-flops; must cover the top of the foot, usually with a heel strap)

      WOMEN
      • Visors and decorative hats may be worn in all dining areas
      • A non-transparent covering must be worn over bathing suits to dine anywhere but the Pool
      • Sandals may be worn (designer fashion footwear)

      CHILDREN 12 & UNDER
      • No short shorts
      • No sports uniforms or gym clothing
      • Clean and non-offensive t-shirts are permitted subject to management’s discretion

      Clubhouse & Dining After 6:00 PM

      Country Club Casual (Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday Dinners) – but NO tennis attire or warm-up suits.

      MEN
      • Hats may not be worn at dinner
      • Bathing suits may not be worn at dinner
      • Sandals may be worn after 6:00 PM ONLY at Sunday dinners (no flip-flops; must cover the top of the foot, usually with a heel strap)
      • Collared shirts only (collarless shirt may be worn only under jackets)

      WOMEN
      • Visors and decorative hats may be worn in all dining areas
      • Bathing suits may not be worn at dinner
      • Sandals may be worn (designer fashion footwear)

      CHILDREN 12 & UNDER
      • No short shorts
      • No sports uniforms or gym clothing

      The following clothing may NOT be worn in the Clubhouse except in the Locker Rooms and Fitness Center:

      • T-shirts (defined as a cotton, or other material, shirt that contains pictures, logos, or other form of advertisement or display)
      • Sweatshirts, and sweat pants
      • Hats may NEVER be worn backwards in or on the Club grounds other than the Pool
      • Ripped or torn denim (includes designer denim with oversized frayed holes that expose skin)
      • Flip-flops (defined as footwear having primary support strap between toes)

      Facilities

      GOLF COURSE
      • Only recognized golf attire is acceptable for players on the Golf Course. The Golf Course includes all golf facilities, i.e., course, driving range, putting green, etc.
      • Only soft-spike golf shoes are permitted. Shoes with metal spikes are prohibited. Sneakers are permitted but not preferred
      • Only Bermuda-length shorts are acceptable
      • The following attire is not acceptable: jeans; gym wear, including sweats (as distinct from warm-ups); tennis attire; collarless or sleeveless shirts for males (except for collarless golf shirts): tank tops; T-shirts; and Cargo shorts and pants may not be worn by males unless the following requirements are met: (i) neatly pressed; (ii) pocket(s) shall be flat, fashion pockets - not large, oversized, baggy pockets; (ii) no longer than the top of the knee; and (iv) no frayed edges or cuffs.
      • Shirts must be worn tucked into shorts or pants
      • Accepted collarless golf shirts will be permitted
      • Hats must be worn forward at all times. Accepted joggers with belt loops will be permitted. Joggers with draw strings/ties are not permitted

      TENNIS

      All players must wear proper tennis sneakers and tennis attire. No short shorts are permitted. For men, T-shirts and sleeveless tennis shirts are allowed. For women, T-shirts are allowed, but no bare midriffs.

      FITNESS CENTER

      Shirts and sneakers must be worn in the fitness center at all times. Bathing suits are not permitted. All manner of workout gear is permitted.

      SWIMMING POOL
      • Men: Bathing suits may not be worn in any dining area other than the Pool
      • Women: A non-transparent covering must be worn over bathing suits to dine anywhere but the Pool
      • Bathing suits may NOT be worn at dinner




  • Dining at Montammy
    • Relax on one of our stone terraces with spectacular views of the golf course and the setting sun, or sample the casual atmosphere of our sports bar. For a more refined dining experience, join us in the Montammy Room, our main dining room.

      Our Halfway House is open from 7:00 am-4:00 pm, with daily complimentary bagels and coffee from 7:00 AM - 10:00 AM. Full tableside service is offered at the pool, which also features seasonal spa cuisine. For dining reservations, please call (201) 768-9000 x114.

  • Electronic Devices Policy
    • Cellphones

      Cellphones must be set on vibrate mode at all times while on club grounds. Conversations on cell phones may only take place in locker rooms and on terraces (when meals are not being served), or outside the Clubhouse. If a telephone call must be made or responded to on the golf course, at the tennis facility or in the pool area, all reasonable efforts must be taken to ensure that such conversation is as brief and private as possible and does not interfere with the other members and guests.

      Other Devices

      Electronic devices, such as laptop computers, iPads and similar devices, may be used anywhere on Club property; provided that such devices are not audible, are not used in any manner that is disturbing to others, and are wireless.

  • Lockers
    • If requested in advance by your sponsoring member, a locker will be marked in your name and furnished with towels, shoe bags, etc. You will also be provided with the name of the locker room attendant on call. If a locker has not been reserved, our attendant will make your arrangements for the day. Please note that clothing and shoes must be changed in the locker rooms and that children under the age of fourteen must use our pool facility locker rooms.

  • Tipping Policy
    • Tipping of, or gift-giving to, any person employed by the Club or any person employed by entities contracted by the Club, by any member, his or her family or guest is strictly prohibited. This policy does not apply to caddies or to private events held at the Club.
